1. Creep and Creep-Fatigue Interactions
Objective: Mimicking the characteristics of material when creep and fatigue occurs at the same time.
Procedure: Apply trapezoidal load to specimen during specific time and relax the load.
2. High Temperature Fatigue
Objective: Evaluate high-temperature fatigue characteristics of material which is exposed to high-temperature environment of power plant.
Procedure: Heat up the specimen with a furnace until target temperature and then conduct a fatigue experiment.
3, Small-Punch Creep Test using Miniature-Sized Specimen
Objective: Evaluate creep characteristics of miniaturized specimen which is taken from an existing power plant.
Procedure: Measure indentation displacement of a 10*10*0.5 mm3 specimen depending on time.
4. Nano Composite Fabrication using CNT and Evaluation of Mechanical Properties
Objective: Analyze mechanical characteristics change of metallic material depending on CNT synthesis.
Procedure: Evaluate mechanical intensity characteristics of the specimen which is made with CNT and grind metal (Ni or Cu) sintering.
5. Simulation of Mechanical Behavior using FEM
Objective: Analysis of stress field and deformation of the structure which is difficult to analyze by experiment.
Procedure: By using material properties from various experiments, we use Solid works or ANSYS for computer simulation.
