Small Punch Creep Tester
Small punch creep tester has a next-generation creep characteristics evaluation technology to supplement experimental time and economic disadvantage of existing creep tester. This tester use miniature specimen (10*10*0.5 mm3) and it draws an equivalent stress of applying load though simulation.
Hydraulic tester is to examine dynamic characteristics of material which are tensile test, shear test, fatigue test and creep-fatigue test etc. This tester applies load through hydraulic pressure and it can be equipped with furnace and voltmeter.
Rockwell Hardness Tester
Rockwell hardness tester measures hardness of material. This tester can convert depth of indentation to hardness value using 120 degree diamond or 1/16 in. steel ball indentation.
Brinell Hardness Tester
Brinell hardness tester measures hardness of material. This tester converts the diameter of indentation mark of specimen to hardness value.
Metallurgical microscope observes surface of metallic material. This tester can observe crack path or surface organization that needs specimen process through polishing and mounting.
High-temperature furnace is an equipment to heat up and maintain temperature of specimen for high-temperature experiment and it generally uses with a tester. This equipment is possible to maintain the temperature evenly in total area of specimen to heat up the specimen and jig as electricity.
Polishing machine polishes the surface of specimen for microscopic observation. This machine generally operates to grind surface of specimen with a rotating emery paper and spraying water.
Micro-polishing machine is necessary because a fine surface crack of material may affect microscopic observation in high-resolution observation using SEM. It uses mixed compound of alumina powder and water to polish right after polishing with general compound.
Mounting machine is used when specimen is too small or not flat to fix in microscope. Put the specimen and appropriate amount of bakelite powder into die of mounting press and fire up the heater at 120~130℃ and 3.5Mpa for 3 minutes. Then, it is prepared to conduct an experiment after sintering bakelite and cooling.
Voltmeter measures resistance of the specimen. It records voltage of specimen in real time, so it can measure crack length indirectly, because the more crack grows, the more resistance value increases.
Super workstation 7046A-T by super micro computer Inc. is used for simulation. It has two intel xeon 5600 series CPU processor and its memory capacity is 48GB.
Parallel computer is also used for simulation. When computational cost is high, we send simulation data and it computes this data.
Haptic device is a physical equipment to convey touch-sense to people. It uses the research of delivering touch-sense data without direct contact.
